Welcome to The NATE Project, a free service for Nevadans with disabilities their families, friends, service providers, schools, and agencies. The NATE Project's mission is to connect Nevadan's to Assistive Technology to increase independence at home, work, school, and in the community. The NATE Project is a one-stop resource where you can browse assistive technology and computers for sale, give away, demonstration, or evaluation.
The terms "user", "users", "individual user" and "individual users" shall refer to participants of this site who are accessing it for personal or professional reasons and are not covered under the definition of "The NATE Project".
The term equipment shall refer to Assistive Technology, computers, computer accessories, and other devices which may assist a person with disabilities in increased independence through it's use.
You agree to accurately represent all equipment listed. All equipment listed should be in good working order. Occasionally, items may be listed which require minimal repair - however these items may be deleted if the cost of repair is considered excessive by The Nate Project.
You will have 30 days after the transaction to make arrangements for the transfer of the assistive technology or computers. After that time the item(s) will be relisted on the web site. Users that have a history of not completing transactions may be removed from the system.
The NATE Project, Easter Seals Southern Nevada, or partner agencies are NOT responsible for technical support, repairs, misuse, collections, transfer arrangements, or any misrepresentation of the condition of the assistive technology, or difficulties in securing payment from buyers. The NATE Project is not a mediator and cannot provide assistance in such situations.
You agree to use this site at your own risk. You also agree to release and hold harmless The NATE Project from any liabilities and claims that arise from my participation in this site. You agree that you will never prosecute or in any way aid in the prosecuting of any demand, claim or suit aimed at The NATE Project.

You are in control of the amount of personal information that you give out when setting up the exchange/selling of assistive technology or computers. The NATE project reminds you to use caution and common sense when interacting with other users of the site. The NATE Project is not responsible for the behavior of individual users.
The NATE Project encourages you to involve the appropriate professional when choosing assistive devices (for example, an occupational therapist and/or physical therapist when choosing mobility aids such as standers, wheelchairs). The NATE project is not responsible for assuring the suitability of any device for a particular person, their disability, or a particular situation.
Items listed by you on this web site will remain posted for 90 days. You will receive an e-mail after that time to see if you wish to continue to keep them listed, make changes, or delete them.
The NATE Project reserves the right to remove and delete any listing for any reason including but not limited to items which are deemed inappropriate (in the sole judgment of The NATE Project) and/or misrepresented.
